Maryland SHA HD-LiDAR
Using a 2004 Cessna 206H Aircraft equipped with Harrier 68i Sensor, AXIS flew at an altitude of ~1800’ AMT to achieve an HD-LiDAR pointcloud density of approximately 6 ppsm (points per square meter) and digital color imagery at a GSD (ground sample distance) of .25’ pixel resolution. Aerial data collected was used to produce design scale mapping data for 1” = 10’ mapping with 1’ topography adhering to National Map Accuracy Standards for large scale mapping on various tasks throughout the State of Maryland.
